Sweet and Sour Cauliflower Wings

It’s wing Wednesday!!!! These wings are so tender and moist they are just like a chicken wing. I used a basic breading recipe you can find anywhere (this one was hot for food) but made my own sauce and it’s to die for! Enjoy 🙂

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 450 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Chop cauliflower into bite size florets.
  2. Combine water, almond milk, flour, and spices. Mixture should be like a pancake batter.
  3. Dip florets into this batter coating it completely and putting it on tray. Bake for 25 minutes flipping halfway.
  4. While this is cooking, prepare sauce. Mix ketchup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. If you prefer it more sour then add more vinegar and if you prefer it more sweet then add more brown sugar.
  5. Once wings are done there first round, cost them in sweet and sour sauce completely. Place back on baking sheet and bake for another 25 minutes with the last 5 on broil.
  6. Serve immediately.
